These terms are an agreement between you and Hasan Shahzad, who runs CrunchCall ("we"). By using CrunchCall you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy policy.
1. What CrunchCall is
CrunchCall is a social app for letting friends know you're heading to lunch, seeing who's out, and joining them. It's free.
CrunchCall is not a clinical or work tool. Don't use it for patient care, handovers, emergencies or anything urgent at work. It isn't run by or connected to your employer, and it isn't a way to monitor attendance or breaks.
2. Who can use it
You must be 16 or over. You need to give accurate details and keep your account to yourself. One account per person.
3. Be decent
When using CrunchCall, you agree not to:
- harass, bully, threaten or abuse anyone, or send unwanted waves or requests repeatedly;
- use offensive, hateful or sexual names or usernames, or pretend to be someone else;
- share patient information or any confidential information from your work;
- break the law, or try to hack, overload, scrape or misuse the app;
- use CrunchCall to sell, advertise or spam.
We have no tolerance for abusive behaviour. If you see something wrong, use Report or Block on that person, or email hello@crunchcall.app. We review every report and will act quickly, including removing content or accounts.
4. Your content
You own what you put in CrunchCall (your name, username, places and so on). You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you choose, only so we can run the app.
5. Suspension and deletion
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.
6. No guarantees
We work hard to keep CrunchCall running, but it's provided "as is". It may sometimes be unavailable, and statuses or notifications may be late or wrong. Don't rely on it for anything important.
7. Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for what other users do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app. If you keep using CrunchCall afterwards, you accept the new terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring claims in your local courts.
